Sieko SKX781 Diving Watch (Orang Monster)Jun 18, 2008
By Bruce W. Davis
"B. W."
I recently purchased one of these watches since I was impressed with its overall mechanical precision, weight and feeling of quality. Also really liked the clasp, including the wet suit, extension and the fact that it had the day of the week as well as the date. However, after using the watch for about a month I became very unhappy with the watch due to the poor timekeeping. While automatic movements are typically not as accurate this watch consistently gained 15 to 20 seconds a day. After reflecting that the main reason you buy a watch is to be able to tell time I reluctantly returned it and bought a quartz movement diving watch which is accurate to within less than five seconds a week, quite a difference. If you are willing to settle for the appearance of a watch and are into constantly adjusting it you might consider this model, but I found it too aggravating. I understand that there is a replacement model coming out with a much more accurate automatic movement. You might want to wait for this one.

Cool watch, incredible value and comprehensive kitApr 12, 2007
By A. Garrod I read about the Orange Monster in QP magazine and decided to buy one for my collection, since I don't have a 'diving' watch since I sold the Seamaster chrono. The watch kit seemed very good value and arrived in perfect condition quickly (from the USA to the UK). The included tools were good enough to perform the required bracelet link removal and adjustment - the instructions supplied were clear and comprehensive and I removed several links without scratching the watch.
Very happy with both the watch and the seller's service, the quality of the OM is simply astonishing given the price, and compares well with much more expensive watches in my collection.

Great value!Jun 04, 2006

Delivered alot earlier than expected. Genuine Seiko Orange Monster with all the original packaging. Watch Pavilion packaged it very nicely too. Included link remover so I could change the size immediately and not waste time going to the jeweler. Also have the option with the rubber band for different look. Love it. Best value. Couldn't find a better deal online than this package. Great job!
Orange Monster deluxeJul 14, 2008
By Edward M. Barret The watch is great. The rubber wrist band is not an original Seiko product. The tools are nearly worthless. Shipping took nearly 2 weeks to arrive in NJ.
Seiko Monster Diver--Orange DialJan 15, 2008

I purchased this watch about 18 months ago. I had never owned a watch with an orange dial before getting my Seiko. It is a really handsome watch and is heavy and solid. It keeps excellent time and is very reliable. If you're looking for a Seiko automatic dive watch, I believe you will really like it. I enjoy wearing mine.
