5I finally found the Casio with 5 alarms & data entry!Oct 08, 2008
By Mr. Roy Cornell
Some years back I bought two Casio watches with 5 alarms and 30 line data storage for tel numbers. Since they have served long and active lives and finally succumbed to mechanical damage and scratched lenses I've been looking for a replacement. The Casio DB-37H is what I've been looking for; the Wal-Marts and K-Marts don't have them. Amazon not only had them but had a very reasonable price and free shipping! Naturally, I bought two of them!

5I recommend this watch to everyoneNov 02, 2008

I have a few watches either batteries are dead or broken. So I figure out that the battery must be last long in order to having a lasting watch. This watch has 10 years battery life fits my need. In addition, the back cap can be opened easily using a small screw driver. You can change the battery yourself if you are handy. BTY, this watch does not have the problem of accidental press reported by other users of different models since all buttons are on the top.

4ALMOST 5 STARSJun 29, 2008
By JON IN L.A.
Almost a 5 star product review.

Great value, excellent large easy to see time and day.

All buttons on front (not on the side) ... Great feature for me since I was always accidentally pushing side buttons on other watches by either back-wrist flexing and or digging deep in tight pants pocket.

CON: The databank feature is useless for me personally, and generally slow and cumbersome with very little uses these days with cell phones that all have built in phone books. But skipping over it is not a problem ....

Otherwise a great watch for the price

3UPDATE: Bad crystal! Bad!Nov 26, 2009
By AmazonWoman
Below is my original (4-star) review. I'm downgrading the review (I would make it 2.5 stars if I could) because of a problem I've never had before with a Casio watch: the plastic "crystal" scratches so badly that it makes it hard to read the watch! That is really a big problem, and I'm actually looking at having to replace this watch because of it. Bummer.
----------------------
I started buying Casio watches when they were first produced in the 1970s. I've found them reliable and indispensable ever since, and have never been without one. (I'm a little weird about "timing" things, from how long it takes me to get somewhere to how long it takes the waitress to appear.) This watch replaces a databank watch that's about ten years old. (The watch didn't fail but the case did.) I like the new one better because button placement is better and this one has a light (the old one didn't). I'm giving four stars for two reasons: (1) the case on this one is quite a bit thicker for some reason, even though the functions are exactly the same; (2) the numbers on this one are lighter (both thinner, and less black) than the old one, making it a little harder to read in bright light. Even so, Casio watches are THE GREATEST! /;oD

5Casio data bank watchMay 19, 2009
By Keith Gunnar "Keith"
I have used Casio Data Bank watches for years and love them. Not only do they keep good time they have so many other features that there is "a lot of bang for the buck". I especially like the data bank feature so I can keep phone numbers, bank account numbers, etc. for easy access. That way that information is always with me. The only thing I don't like abbout this particular model is that the AM/PM-24 hour button is too exposed. I prefer the AM/PM mode and quite often it is in the 24 hour mode because I accidentally touch the button. The other thing about all of the plastic Casio watches is the plastic part where the strap attaches will sooner or later break. I always buy a couple of extra watches to have on hand.
